State of Wisconsin situation...
Here is a snippit from a social network comment thread on March 11, 2011 that I think just about says it all. This was not my comment...
"The most frustrating thing about this whole situation to me is that now we are running in circles as a state, possibly as a nation. We are all chasing our own collective tail as the left changes things, & the right changes them back, forcing the left to change them back again, & so on & so forth. Have we all forgotten the state motto: Forward? We need to improve what we have. Instead of both sides getting bogged down in a quagmire of wasting all of our time trying to reverse what the last guy in office to bring about our little dream utopias. AND this permanent campaigning has got to go. I think more work goes into that instead of ANYONE actually doing their jobs. Compromise should be a way to maximize our government's time effiency. (Maybe we need smaller, a more simplistically plain bills too.) It's better than this never ending Mexican stand-off that lead to bitter rivalries, & near legislative meltdown."
AMEN
